Topics from the 'Project' and 'Resources' categories:
Estimating Project Resource expenses
i-lign uses four types of estimate. All of them calculate projected expenses between the Start and End dates of the project. Last edited by Susan from i-lign on Mon, 2008-12-15 16:20.
Managing Lifecycle permissions
The ability to setup default lifecycles in i-lign, and then assign a lifecycle to a project is managed by organisational and project security permissions respectively. Last edited by Sean from i-lign on Wed, 2007-10-31 09:10.
Resource allocations for BAU activities
Overhead tasks can be used to allocate a percentage of a resource's time against BAU activities for a specified time period. Last edited by Elaine on Wed, 2007-06-06 09:24.
Configuring Project PrioritisationTo use the Project Prioritisation feature in i-lign, project dimensions and their values have to be defined, and security permissions defined for Organisational roles. Last edited by Elaine on Wed, 2007-06-06 15:57.
Permissions, and Secure Projects
Sometimes organisations need to secure sensitive projects from general view. i-lign's security model is based on work being visible to those with the appropriate security permissions. Last edited by Susan from i-lign on Wed, 2008-12-10 12:38.
Can I allow some people to view a particular risk and not others?
No, you can't differentiate between risks. Last edited by Elaine on Fri, 2007-03-16 16:43.
Can I allocate a resource against a single task with multiple allocation rates?
This can be achieved in i-lign using a task pool, but is not possible in i-lign for standard tasks, where only one allocation rate can be set per resource per task. Last edited by Elaine on Fri, 2007-02-16 16:12.
How does i-lign calculate task end dates?
The first factor i-lign uses in determining task end dates is the length of the working day. Last edited by Susan from i-lign on Mon, 2008-12-08 13:46.
