Why are task numbers different in the HTML and the Gantt chart view?

Estimating Project Resource expenses

i-lign uses four types of estimate. All of them calculate projected expenses between the Start and End dates of the project.

How is the Project Percentage Complete figure calculated?

The Project Percentage Complete figure displays on the Project Snapshot.

Associating project activities with a deliverable

Deliverables are the quantitative and qualitative outputs of a project and each deliverable will have at least one or more tasks or milestones that contribute to it's completion.

Resource allocations for BAU activities

Overhead tasks can be used to allocate a percentage of a resource's time against BAU activities for a specified time period.

Why are Tasks marked as 100% complete showing in an overdue Task list?

i-lign considers a Task to be complete when an actual end date is entered.

Can I use several allocation rates with the same Resource against a single Task?

This can be achieved using a Task Pool, but is not possible in i-lign for standard Tasks, where only one allocation rate can be set per Resource per Task.

How does i-lign calculate task end dates?

The first factor i-lign uses in determining task end dates is the length of the working day.

How does i-lign handle task slippage on constrained tasks?

Tasks that are constrained by another task or milestone (for example, with a finish-to-start constraint) will only move where the planned start/end date of the constraining task is modified.
