How does i-lign calculate Task end dates?

The first factor i-lign uses in determining Task end dates is the length of the working day.

Can I print out the Gantt Chart?

The Gantt chart has not been designed to be printed: i-lign is intended for enterprise-wide use and enables online, paperless reporting that uses realtime, consolidated information.

How does i-lign handle Task slippage on constrained Tasks?

Tasks that are constrained by another Task or Milestone (for example, with a finish-to-start Constraint) will only move where the planned start/end date of the constraining Task is modified.

Restricting Project Access

There may be individuals in your organisation (e.g. contractors) who should only see Projects to which they're assigned. You can quickly make this so.

Parent / Child Project Financials

Aggregated financial information can be displayed in the Project Financials of a Parent Project.

Why are Task numbers different in the HTML and the Gantt chart view?

Tasks (and Milestones) in i-lign have a unique number that is assigned to them when they are created and which always stays the same. Its purpose is to give people a shorthand way of referring to tasks.

How are Timesheets Pre-Populated?

When you access a Timesheet for the first time, it is populated with the Tasks, Projects and Activities to which you're assigned in that week. When you return to that Timesheet, it will display its original population. However, you can reset a Timesheet by clicking the Replace All button.

A Line Item covers a single Financial Year. A Project may have one or more Line Items for each Account.
