Document Library enhancements

Document libraries can be used for simple document management.

Document management

Many projects are required to maintain or produce documents, which are often called artifacts. We've enhanced i-lign's document library to better support this need.

• You can now give all document library entries an owner and planned and actual dates.
• Files can be versioned and multiple versions of the same file stored in the application.
• Documents can be associated with other items eg Decisions or Deliverables.

Usability

We made the document library easier to use by splitting folders, links and documents into separate pages, and improving the way that you can create and work with folders.

(Users must have the Library: Create, Library Modify, Library: Delete - permissions to manage documents and Library: View, Library: List to access documents.)
