Maintenance release

Minor Improvements

  • [PW-4167] - The 'Missing Timesheets' Browser-Based report has been removed, as missing Timesheets can be viewed on the Manage / Review Timesheets page
  • [PW-4695] - Security permissions for Timesheets have been removed, as they are not necessary
  • [PW-4840] - Decisions are now copied from Projects marked as templates
  • [PW-4882] - Pop-ups have been added for Activities
  • [PW-4890] - The latest Review's 'Planning Confidence' has been added to the Reporting Project Extract
  • [PW-4896] - Users can type a Resource's name to be able to select it in drop down lists of Resources in the Project Gantt
  • [PW-4922] - The Funding Dashboard now displays a warning message when Funding Categories and selected Financial Lines do not match up.
  • [PW-4923] - Resources that are assigned to a Project but are not current cannot be assigned to Tasks (existing assignments are not affected)
  • [PW-4942] - The 'Net External Cost' subtotal Financial Line now includes Capital Expenses
  • [PW-4944] - Totals now appear on Programme and Project Funding Allocation screens

Cosmetic changes

  • [PW-4812] - The 'Finish' button does not appear on the first page of the Project wizard if the user has to go to the second page to enter a Project Number
  • [PW-4846] - An error message saving a Resource Cost incorrectly refers to the 'Start Date', but it should be the 'Effective Date'
  • [PW-4903] - The Financial Dashboard now shows a bar graph and popup when there is no budget or outturn to display but money has been allocated
  • [PW-4907] - Breadcrumbs and page titles for Enterprise Financials pages have been improved
  • [PW-4914] - The 'Reset Password' and 'Edit' buttons at the top of the 'View Resource' page are the wrong colour in the Orange skin
  • [PW-4936] - The Project Hotspot Report says 'Total Cost of Programme' when it should be 'Total Cost of Project'
  • [PW-4943] - The Account Category 'Expense' is now called 'Operational Expense', for consistency with Financial Lines
  • [PW-4950] - 'Mitigating Actions' have been renamed to 'Treatments' in PDF reports for consistency with language used elsewhere
  • [PW-4957] - The definitions for 'Subtotal' Financial lines are not formatted correctly
  • [PW-4958] - The 'Comments' prompt on the Modify Project Status page has been changed to 'Reason for change in status'
  • [PW-4972] - The 'Add Resource' button on the Modify Activity page is highlighted when you move the mouse over it even though it is inactive
  • [PW-4982] - The delay before a mouse-over pop-up (ie one that appears without clicking) appears has been increased

Bugs fixed

  • [PW-4806] - The 'Convert to ...' menus on the Organisation Launch Space do not appear if you move the mouse after clicking the '>' button
  • [PW-4838] - The 'Find' button on the Skill Set Search page does not work in IE6
  • [PW-4891] - Project names are missing on the Organisation > Project Dashboard page (introduced in 4.4.0)
  • [PW-4892] - Deleting a Resource that has owned or modified a Portfolio fails with a system error
  • [PW-4893] - The 'View Account' page in Project Financials should include line items from child Projects, with the option to hide them
  • [PW-4894] - Funds allocated to sub-projects are not included in a Project's allocations on the Enterprise Financials pages
  • [PW-4897] - Entering certain characters in Enterprise Financials fields causes the page to stop working properly
  • [PW-4902] - Sub-Project budget vs allocation variance is shown as +/- 20% when it is 100% on budget
  • [PW-4913] - The page for editing Events has fields at the bottom for 'Invites' but there are no options to select
  • [PW-4916] - Creating an Allocation without a Programme fails with a system error
  • [PW-4918] - If the owner of a Task is not a current Resource then they disappear from the list of options when the Task is edited in the Project Gantt and the owner is changed (introduced in 4.4)
  • [PW-4921] - The Over-allocations report does not show years of child-allocations
  • [PW-4926] - Entering extremely large numbers for Action Item effort fails with a system error when saved
  • [PW-4934] - Opening a New or Modify Task dialog in the Project Gantt chart causes the gantt to hang if one of the people assigned to the Project has a certain part-time calendar
  • [PW-4945] - Event times are incorrect in the Event 'Timeline' popups
  • [PW-4946] - Events don't appear on the Event calendar
  • [PW-4947] - Creating a Finish-to-Finish constraint from one Task to another, and a second Finish-to-Finish constraint from the second Task back to the first, creates a loop that causes the Project Gantt chart to hang
  • [PW-4949] - Adding a lag to a constraint assigns all project resources to a Task in the Project Gantt chart
  • [PW-4953] - Opening a Project popup from the Timesheet preview popup causes the Timesheet popup to close
  • [PW-4969] - All Project Resources are automatically assigned to a new Task Pool when it is created - unselected Resources are assigned at 0% (introduced in 4.4)
  • [PW-4977] - Viewing Task Pools is controlled by the security action 'Task: Modify' (should be controlled by 'Task: View')
