Stocking fillers release, containing a number of nice improvements to bring you Christmas cheer.
Minor Improvements
- [PW-4341] - Use charts to show information on the Project summary and Programme details pages
- [PW-4716] - The 'Timesheet Resource' browser-based report shows the report parameters
- [PW-4912] - Items that have been added to a tab on the Home page Prioritiser since the last visit are automatically added to the top of 'My List'
- [PW-4989] - Expand All / Collapse All buttons have been added to Document Library and Financials pages
- [PW-5013] - Risks can be associated with a XPD in the same Project, if the Risk has the 'XPD' category
- [PW-5015] - Code Tables that cannot be configured have been removed from the list
- [PW-5017] - The Project / Activity search box has moved into the top navigation bar and returns many more types of items, sorted by relevance and grouped by type
- [PW-5027] - Information on the Strategic Drivers list pages can be filtered by Financial Year
- [PW-5029] - The Executive Dashboard can now show just Projects, just Programmes or Projects in their Programme hierarchy - the filter by Programme and Team options have been removed
- [PW-5030] - Prioritisation can now be done using an interface that allows simple ordering of Projects and Concepts
- [PW-5034] - The expanded or collapsed state of lists is remembered when the user returns to a page
- [PW-5036] - The 'Timesheet Resource' Browser-Based report has an option to run the report based on one or more Teams
- [PW-5037] - Allow Resource Allocation views to show six months of information, rather than the current limit of three months
- [PW-5044] - The 'Home' page has been simplified and made more usable, with all work now appearing in the Prioritiser and the Timesheet getting its own tab
- [PW-5057] - Filters for eg Tasks, Decisions etc include new categories
- [PW-5071] - Programmes have a Risk Level, based on the levels of the Programme's own Risks
- [PW-5074] - The 'Enterprise Financial Dashboard' now shows overall financial data for the whole organisation - the old page is now called the 'Programme Dashboard'
- [PW-5082] - A 'Jump To ... Projects' option has been added to show a list of all active Projects - available to all users, controlled by the 'Project: List' security action
- [PW-5085] - Concept Prioritisation is now turned on and off by the 'Project Prioritisation' feature, which is now just called 'Prioritisation', and controlled by a new Action called 'Concept: Modify Priority'
- [PW-5087] - New Sticky Notes appear at the top of the list rather than at the bottom when they are first created
- [PW-5097] - Uploading a file that is not an image as a Resource's photo returns an error message
- [PW-5106] - Lists of items on the Home page and Project Snaphot only show unresolved items - resolved items that were due in the future are no longer shown
- [PW-5111] - Users' accounts can be locked after a configurable number of login attempts (a temporary password can still be requested)
- [PW-5117] - Notification emails include a name as well as an address in the 'To' and 'From' fields
- [PW-5118] - A new security action called 'Organisation: View' has been added to grant access to the Organisation page - users who do not have this action cannot see the 'Organisation' button in the top navigation
Cosmetic changes
- [PW-5007] - The formatting of the Lifecycle Stages is not correct on the Project Snapshot (IE8 only)
- [PW-5014] - Indents are inconsistent on the Strategic Drivers list page
- [PW-5031] - 'High Risk Projects' Browser-Based report shows the Risk Level of the Projects
- [PW-5051] - Financials pages no longer provide a drop-down box to select a currency when there's only one currency to select
- [PW-5059] - Pop-ups that appear when the mouse pointer moves over a link do not appear if a new page is loading
- [PW-5061] - Tables embedded within PDF reports only show headings when there is data to show
- [PW-5077] - Organisation branding can be added to PDF reports and pages printed from the browser
- [PW-5101] - Options on the Global Configuration page are hidden if the corresponding Feature is disabled
Bugs fixed
- [PW-4587] - The 'My List' tab is always selected on the Home page 'Prioritiser', regardless of the last tab selected, causing lists from both tabs to be displayed in the centre panel - IE only
- [PW-4805] - Scroll bars do not display on Bookmarks popup window (IE6 only)
- [PW-4835] - The history link on a Timesheet's status does not work in IE6
- [PW-4998] - A newly added Item cannot be removed from a Portfolio - clicking the delete button does nothing (IE6 and IE7 only)
- [PW-5043] - Scroll bar disappears temporarily after using date picker in IE6
- [PW-5060] - The Resource link in the header on the Stakeholder details page cannot be clicked in IE6
- [PW-5063] - Spaces cannot be entered in PDF report filters, and tabbing between the fields does not work
- [PW-5076] - Deleting newly created XPDs from the Project Gantt chart may sometimes remove the wrong item
- [PW-5079] - A small number of pages or parts of pages are visible even if the user does not have permission to see them
- [PW-5084] - Sending support files to i-lign, and including 'usage history' appears to fail, although the log files have actually been sent (affects in-house customers only)
- [PW-5089] - Email will not be cleared from the queue and errors will occur in many other parts of the application if a new database is created, or an existing database is restored, email alerts are turned on and the 50th email is created (introduced in 4.4)
- [PW-5091] - The Agreed Delivery Date appears in the same place as the Project Number on the Detailed Header PDF subreport
- [PW-5092] - Clicking 'Generate PDF' for a Programme or Project report without selecting a report from the list, and then clicking the 'Generate PDF' button again fails with a system error
- [PW-5093] - Dependent XPD links point in the wrong direction in the 'Associated Items' Project visualisation
- [PW-5098] - The rank column on the High Priority Projects page is sorted alphabetically rather than numerically
- [PW-5102] - The i-Value page incorrectly counts Milestones called 'Project Start' and 'Project End' as contributing towards a tick in the 'Milestones' column
- [PW-5114] - A failure in any of the scheduled background tasks (eg performance monitoring, sending email) causes that task to stop working until the application is restarted
- [PW-5115] - Clicking a link to view a Concept navigates to the top of the Concept list page, rather than scrolling to the selected Concept
- [PW-5120] - Viewing a Project Review is dictated by 'Project Review: List' instead of 'Project Review: View'
