Information on how to tune (configure) your risk matrix, categories, types, status and custom fields.
This tutorial provides information on how to tune (configure) your risks to suit your organisation.
Navigate to business configuration
Access to Business Configuration is via the top level Horizontal Navigation Bar.
Tune your risk matrix
Organisations often have a standard risk matrix. Click on Matrix to tune your risk matrix to match your organisation’s.
Tune your categories, types and status
Tuning works in the same way for all these fields. See the screenshot below for how to tune them, once you’ve selected the relevant field. Generally Types are used for broader classifications eg Project, Programme, Organisation. Categories are used for finer grain classifications eg Organisation Reputation, Organisation Service Delivery, Project/Programme Cost, Project/Programme Schedule.
Examples of risk status you could use are: Identify, Evaluate. Accept, Avoid, Mitigate and Transfer. Closed is a mandatory status which you are unable to edit.
Add custom fields
This allows you to add additional fields to your risk information.
