Information on how to manage people assigned to projects, programmes, activities and services.


Project and programme people

Add people

Use the Shortcuts drop down button to add people to projects/programmes. This button is viewable on most project/programme views, in the top right hand corner.

We recommend you add your people before you start adding much detail to your project/programme. This is so you can then allocate people to other items such as risks, tasks etc. When you add people to your project/programme you also define their roles and decide what level of access they will have to your project/programme information. See the table underneath the screenshots for more information on security.

Security actions Definitions
View: Basic View basic project / programme information, manager,description,status
View: Items View all management items: risks, change requests, decisions, issues.
View: Tasks View all tasks, milestones and task assignments.
View: Value View benefits, concept (business case), investment profile.
View: Finance View of financial information.
View:Misc Everything else including project / programme documents, baselines etc.
Create: Items Create any management item: risk, change request, decision, issue.
Create: Tasks Create tasks, milestones etc. Assign people to tasks.
Manage: Value Manage value items. Modify benefits, priority and investement information.
Manage: Delivery Modify any project / programme item. Manage project / programme security and miscellaneous items.
Modify or remove people

Use the left hand Vertical Navigation Bar to navigate to your People tab. You can modify or remove people from the Responsibility or Allocations views.

Activity people

Add, modify, remove people

Navigate to your activity and use the Functions drop down button. This button is viewable on most activity views, in the top right hand corner. Select Edit Initiative Details to add, modify or remove people.
